ABOUT AUN-ADERA
ADERA stands for Architecture Design Education and Research in ASEAN. It is a thematic network of the ASEAN Universities Network (AUN).
Sanctioned as a group in 2018, it hosted its first inaugural virtual meeting and symposium on 27-28 July 2020, hosted by the Department of Architecture at the National University of Singapore. We are a loose collective of educators in architectural design education and research drawn from the core universities of AUN and like-minded associate universities in the region. Our main activities are undertaken in the following working groups established at the 2020 Meeting in Singapore:
Design Pedagogy; History, Society and Culture; Design Technologies; Urbanism, Environment and Community; Professional and Accreditation Matters and Other Matters
In April 2022, a webinar on the State and Future of Architectural Education in Asia was held.
